# 1.4.5 - Topología Hub-and-Spoke

En esta topología, se elimina el problema anterior del punto único de fallo. Esta topología es similar a la topología de estrella y se utiliza para conectar múltiples sitios juntos mediante enlaces WAN.

En esta topología, no importa a que nodo quiera llegar, siempre debo pasar por un hub para poder llegar a los nodos (a los “spokes”).

Esta topología no es totalmente redundante, ya que si pierdo algún nodo central (hub), pierdo una gran porción de la red.
